FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida – April 22, 2014, today BIS Digital, Inc. (BIS) announced it has purchased 100% of the assets of R.B. Causey Company (RBCC), a respected 65 year old firm providing audio and video recording systems throughout Arkansas.
Mrs. Blanchard Causey, president of the firm operated by her late husband and before that by his father, said “we are pleased to finalize this arrangement which will provide continuing service to our many court reporting, hospitals, and other customers around the state.”
BIS is merging RBCC operations into its Fort Lauderdale, FL headquarters. BIS will assume all service and support obligations of RBCC immediately and will reach out to all RBCC customers to provide continuous sales and support.
BIS CEO, Steve Coldren commented on the transaction “RBCC provides BIS entry to the Arkansas market with a significant customer base and we look forward to providing all RBCC customers with enhanced product offerings and service upgrades to existing systems.”
Most importantly, all RBCC Court/Conference customers are using the same core software as all of BIS customers (Liberty, DCR). This means we can immediately begin marketing our integrated solutions for Remote Video Arraignment, Docket Integration, Public Address, Assisted Listening and Evidence Presentation systems.
